The Ruprecht-Kars-Heidelberg University (formerly Latin Ruperto Corolla) is the University of Heidelberg in the state of Baden-Wurttemberg. This is the oldest university in Europe and the oldest university in Germany.
The full university was founded in 1386 by the Pope’s instruction in downtown VI.
