duplicate University of the Fraser Valley degree

The Fraser Valley University (UFV), formerly known as Fraser Valley University College and Fraser Valley University, is a public university in Canada, with campuses in Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission and Hope, British Columbia. Fraser Valley College, established in 1974, was a response to the needs of the Fraser Valley community to expand vocational training. In 1988, it became a university with degree-granting status. As Fraser Valley University College, it developed rapidly and became one of the largest university colleges in Canada.

Taking into account the growing demand for higher education in the region and the entire province, the provincial government granted full university status on April 21, 2008. Now, more than 15,000 students are enrolled each year.

In the "2010 Global Mail Canadian University Report", UFV achieved the highest "A Range" score among all post-secondary institutions in British Columbia, with A scores in terms of education quality, student-teacher interaction, and ease of registration.
